Practice Description
Ms. Sanscrainte is a member of the firm's Environmental Land Use and Natural Resources Section and the Tribal Practice Group. She concentrates her practice on environmental, Federal Indian and municipal law, with a special emphasis on water law issues, hazardous waste clean-ups under CERCLA and MTCA, environmental insurance claims, and environmental claims in bankruptcy. Ms. Sanscrainte has commercial litigation experience as both plaintiffs' and defense counsel for various matters, including CERCLA/MTCA cost-recovery actions, breach of contract and Consumer Protection Act claims, and disputes involving general liability and title insurance coverage. She also has served as city criminal prosecutor for a western Washington municipality.

Ms. Sanscrainte is admitted to practice in Washington, the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of Washington, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.

Washington Law and Politics magazine selected Ms. Sanscrainte as a "Rising Star" for 2008.
